MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE GREAT NOTLEY PARISH COUNCIL

07/74. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE. Apologies were received from Cllr Morris
07/75. DECLARATION OF INTERESTS. To receive any ‘personal’ or ‘personal and prejudicial’ interests relating to items on the agenda. No interests were declared.
07/76. MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING. The minutes of 13 March 2007 were approved as a correct record of events. Proposed: Cllr Mansfield. Seconded: Cllr Stirland. All agreed.

07/77. MATTERS ARISING FROM THOSE MINUTES. 07/60. Cuckoo Wood – a walk has been arranged for 21 April at 10.30am. 07/65. Parking around Notley Green – to be raised at the Annual Assembly. 07/72. Purchase of land at the entrance to White Court – Annual Assembly.
EX-AGENDA. District / County Councillors Report. As the monthly Highways meeting was poorly attended, future meetings would be called as necessary.
07/78. SPORTS PAVILION CONSULTATION. It was agreed that enough consultation had already taken place; therefore there would be no further consultation. Proposed: Cllr Hayden. Seconded: Cllr Mansfield.

07/81. LONDON ROAD – TRAFFIC CALMING. A letter to be sent to ECC Highways to ask for consultation with residents to start immediately so that work can be ready for when the dualling of the bypass is completed.
07/82. REPORTS. Community Warden Report – agreed that the Warden does an excellent job. Mobile Library Consultation – due to the large number of responses a review is to be held.
07/83. CORRESPONDENCE. Parish Cluster Meetings – Agenda item – Discovery Centre. Flitch Way – a litter pick to be held on 28 April. Notley Green Play Area – a site meeting to be arranged to discuss fencing.
07/84. ANY OTHER BUSINESS. · Ditch by Notley Green School – needs clearing.
07/85. DATE OF THE NEXT MEETING. The Annual Assembly is on Tuesday 17th April at 7.30 at the Discovery Centre. Cllrs Barltrop and Walters gave their apologies for this meeting.
The next meeting is on the 8th May 2007 at 7.30 pm at the Discovery Centre, Great Notley. This will be the Annual Meeting of the Council; all councillors will need to sign a Declaration of Acceptance of Office prior to the start of the meeting.
The Chairman thanked all Councillors and the Clerk for their work over the last year.
